Office and Store Ullapool

The need for additional office, design studio and storage / dispatch space lead the client to redevelop their existing premise in Ullapool’s industrial estate.

The building designed in conjunction with the client and Dutch contractor brought together the ethos of lean construction and a whole of life consideration of the buildings running and maintenance costs. Super efficient heating pump heating and cooling systems using borehole and solar gain techniques were incorporated into the lightweight steel frame building achieving a building which produces more energy than it uses.

Project duration: 6 months, completion Spring 2006.
