Mixed housing at Muir of Ord

Mixed housing at Muir of Ord

Down

A development of flats and townhouses in Muir of Ord.

A derelict site in the centre of Ross-shire village Muir of Ord the site is currently occupied by two run down cottages with extensive overgrown garden areas. The area is typically developed with 2 – 3 bedroom cottages and flatted units in the local traditional style. This proposal is no different, with traditional proportions and materials reflective of the local vernacular. The relatively high density development of the site provides communal factored garden grounds in order to avoid boundary fences and pathways in the outside spaces between units.

This project is due on site early 2010.

Project duration: 9 months

Construction cost: £700,000.00
