House extension

Additional living space attached to a kit house in the Moray area.

The client's brief was to create a simple extension to an uninspiring bungalow to maximise the benefits of a south west aspect and panoramic views of the Moray countryside.

The single room extension is detailed with timber cladding to the external walls and a flat roof with canopy over external seating areas. Large glazed opening panels and flowing materials from inside to outside blur the transition from internal to external space.

The project is due on site in 2009.
