Housing at Edinbane

A speculative development of twenty houses with affordable housing provision in Edinbane on the Isle of Skye.

Ewen Gillies (Builders) Ltd. commissioned us in conjunction with a team of Planning Consultants to develop the steeply sloping site which enjoys views to the North of the Edinbane estuary. The family homes follow a modern Scottish theme, reflective of the typical white rendered slate roofed long houses of the Western Isles, whilst making use of the sloping site with split levels and basements ensuring the principal living spaces are elevated and orientated to the views and sunlight.

The project is currently at planning stage and is expected to be on site in 2009.
