New House at Applecross

The brief for this job was to create a modern house in the North West coast of Scotland also accommodating a bed and breakfast flat and a studio for the clients.

The construction is largely block work and timber frame with white render and cedar cladding, creating a modern take on the vernacular of the area. The large glazed windows to the north west provide views across to the isles of Rona and Skye.

This project is due for completion in spring 2009
