Linlithgow

The site was identified and purchased on the edge of the Forth / Clyde Canal in a residential area of Linlithgow by the developer. A steeply sloping green field site the brief was to develop for the executive commuting market of the central belt, creating 5+ bedroom houses in a style reminiscent of the Scottish vernacular buildings of the area. The density of the layout coupled with the gradient required for split levels within the houses and sites with retaining walling and terracing to the gardens.
